  • What types of boat charters are available in Seychelles?
There is a wide range of charters, including catamarans, sailing yachts, motor yachts, speedboats, and fishing boats. Whether you're looking for a romantic sunset cruise or a weeklong island-hopping adventure, there's something for every kind of traveller. We offer a speedboat with ease and comfort at Loyalty Charter.
  • Do I need a boating licence to charter a boat?
This is only necessary if you are renting a bareboat without a crew. For most charters, especially private or luxury options, a licensed skipper and crew are provided. At Loyalty Charter, you will be guided by a licensed professional skipper and a handy boat boy for your journey.
  • What areas can we explore by boat?
Popular destinations include Praslin, La Digue, Curieuse, Cousin Island, St Pierre, Sister Island, Coco Island, and more. Custom itineraries are available for private charters. Kindly refer to our destinations section to discover all the islands we cover.
  • What’s the difference between a bareboat and a crewed charter?
Bareboat: You captain the boat yourself (licence required). Crewed Charter: A professional skipper (and often a boat boy or chef) handles everything, so you can relax and enjoy the experience.
  • How many people can join a charter?
Our charters can accommodate anywhere from 2 to 16 guests with 2 crew members. We also cater to groups, families, and special events.
  • How much does it cost to charter a boat?
Prices vary based on the trip type, duration, and season. Kindly contact Loyalty Charter and request a free quotation. We also customise private charters based on our clients' personal requests. The owner will arrange a favourable rate for all private charters. All children less than 12 years of age automatically obtain a 50% discounted price on all trip types.
  • What’s included in the price?
The trips include 2 crew members, a barbecue chef, boat fuel, snorkelling gear, food, soft drinks, bottled water, and local beers. Champagne, wine, or the famous Seychelles Takamaka rum may be part of tailored packages and family event celebrations. Guests can also make special requests, like a birthday cake to mark the occasion. Only full-day visitors can eat, but event guests can ask for special drinks.
  • Are there any additional charges?
Some extras may apply, such as: Marine park fees Alcoholic beverages (strictly reserved upon guest personal request and tailored packages) The client may provide tips for the crew at their discretion.
  • When is the best time to book?
We recommend booking: 3–6 months in advance for peak season (Dec–Apr & Aug–Oct) 1–2 months in advance for other times of the year We also take bookings daily if we still have available seats for 16 members in total.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation policies vary depending on the charter type, but we strive to be flexible. Please check your booking confirmation for specific terms. If it rains on the scheduled date, we cancel all charters and postpone them to a new date. Clients who have some personal issues and wish to cancel can do it 24 hours before the trip without any charges. All cancellations on the trip day are chargeable at 50%.
  • What should I bring on the trip?
We suggest packing: Swimwear, hat & sunglasses Reef-safe sunscreen Towel and flip-flops Camera or phone Any personal medications or seasickness remedies
